About the skin fade
What is a skin fade?
A skin fade is a tapered haircut where the hair on the sides and back is faded down to bare skin. The blend rises gradually so there's no visible line between skin and hair — just a smooth gradient up to the length on top. At Sina Blendz, every skin fade is finished with a straight-razor line-up and a hot-towel close.
How long does a skin fade last?
Most clients come back every 2–3 weeks. The fade is at its sharpest in the first week; by week three the sides start to soften and the line-up needs a tidy. Booking on a 2-week rhythm keeps it looking the way it did when you walked out.
Skin fade vs zero fade vs taper
A skin fade goes all the way to the skin. A zero fade is similar — clippers on zero — but doesn't necessarily razor the lowest part. A taper fade keeps a little length at the bottom for a softer look. All three are on the menu; tell us in the chair which you want and we'll guide.

Do I need to book or can I walk in?
Both. Walk-ins are welcome at both shops during opening hours, and online booking through Fresha guarantees a chair at the time you want. For Saturdays we recommend booking.
