Beard trim, scissor work, neckline, cheek line and a hot towel close. Shaped to your face, not to a template — because everyone's beard grows differently and 'just a tidy' shouldn't mean the same as it does next door.
A consult on length and shape, clipper work over the length, scissor work on the corners and moustache, a defined neckline shaved with a straight razor, a defined cheek line, and a hot-towel close. About 30 minutes start to finish.
If you've been doing it yourself in the mirror, yes — at least once. A barber does two things you can't: they see your beard from the back, and they have the angle on your jawline to keep the neckline natural. After one professional shape, the at-home maintenance gets easier because there's a clear shape to follow.
A beard trim keeps the length you have and shapes it. A full shave removes the beard entirely. A line-up is faster (about 15 minutes) and only resets the edges — neckline, cheek line and the moustache — without touching the length. Tell us which one you want; we're happy to do any of them.
At Sina Blendz our beard trim is from $45 at both shops. A line-up only is also available if you just want the edges reset.
If your beard is short and even, you can probably maintain it at home. If it has shape, layers, a defined neckline, or you've been growing it out and want a reset — yes, see a barber. The two-minute beard look in the mirror at home is hard to get right on your own face.
Every 2–4 weeks depending on growth rate and how clean you want it. If you've just grown a beard out and want to set the shape, come once for the shape and then every 2 weeks for the maintenance. If you want it to look groomed at all times, fortnightly is the rhythm.
Yes. Tell us 'line-up only' and we'll only touch the neckline, cheek line and moustache without taking length off the beard. It's faster and a few dollars less.
Yes — show us a photo on your phone and we'll work towards that. Your face shape, hair pattern and length are different from the photo, so we'll adapt — but the photo is the most precise way to brief a barber.
